I went to the Armory show over the weekend, which is a huge exhibit of the best art from galleries around the world. Although some may see it as stealing, I like to 'borrow' other artists' work to create my own. I'm conscious though of not just capturing the piece, but rather making it my own by photographing just a portion of the art, capturing it from odd angels, or, as you'll see below, by combining different pieces to create one piece. I believe that in every art form inspiration is derived from those that came before, whether it be conscious or unconscious.
